Pitt Alumnus, Eric Reidy, wins United Nations Correspondents Association Elizabeth Neuffer Memorial Award Gold Medal

We are delighted to announce that Eric Reidy, who graduated with a B.A. in History from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012, has won the United Nations Correspondents Association Elizabeth Neuffer Memorial Award gold medal for his coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. The prize, which is awarded by the United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) for best print, broadcast and online media coverage of the United Nations, was awarded to Eric for his efforts to provide "a thorough picture of the pandemic’s impact on many countries, in particular India and Bangladesh".
