Congratulations to Dr. Alaina Robert whose I’ve Been Here All the While: Black Freedom on Native Land (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2021) was awarded the 2022 John C. Ewers Award (for best book on the topic of North American Indian Ethnohistory) and the W. Turrentine Jackson Prize (for best first published book on the American West) by the Western History Association.
